Task 2 Find your Salary
Once you have decided on what career you will embark on you need to find what an entry level job in the field looks like. Do a google search for you job including the words "career path."
For example if you wanted to me a surgeon, which makes an average of $250,000 a year, if you search "Surgeon Career Path" you will find that a surgeon must first be a Medical Resident (averaging $55,000) for 1 - 7 years and a fellow (averaging $66,000) for 1-3 years before actually becoming a surgeon. Those big bucks don't come until you have been in the surgical field for about a decade.
You need to find the ENTRY LEVEL salary for your field. You can find this salary by doing a google search. A good place to search is glassdoor.com. Fill in your job, location and change the last pull down to salary.
Fill out Task 2 on your project packet and show your salary to your teacher so that we can make sure you have done it correctly.
